Changes: Argon's Lodge

Argon's Lodge is a large Freemen encampment, located in the Emerald Graves on the Dales of Orlais.

Background[]

Auguste, one of the Freemen leaders, oversees his cells' operations in the Dales from Argon's Lodge.

Involvement[]

This section contains spoilers for:
Dragon Age: Inquisition.

In order to stop the Freemen's advance in the region, the Inquisition begins tracking down all of the Freemen base of operations scattered about the Graves. After taking down Sister Costeau, one of the Freemen leaders operating out of the Veridium Mine, the Inquisitor discovers the whereabouts of other Freemen cells from a map looted in the mine after the assault. The Inquisitor sets off to track down Auguste a former Chevalier that joined the Freemen in hopes of reclaiming the Dales from Orlais' pointless war. When the Inquisitor finally catches up to Auguste at Argon's Lodge he proves no match for the Inquisitor and the accompanying party.

Word of Auguste's death spreads quickly among the remaining Freemen; the Inquisitor is able to intercept a note referencing the Freemen's aggravation with the Inquisition's meddling in Freemen affairs in the Graves:

“Ser Auguste is dead. If this continues, we'll lose everything we worked for. We must do something. Send all the men out, everyone who can fight.” ―scribbled note

Once all the Freemen leaders have been eliminated, Fairbanks's refugees relocate from Watcher's Reach to Argon's Lodge.
