Anthony Pentaghast was a Nevarran of the royal Pentaghast family, and the older brother of Cassandra.

Background Edit

Following their failed attempt at overthrowing King Markus Pentaghast in 9:10 Dragon, Anthony's parents, Lord Matthias and Lady Tigana, were executed, as well as any of their immediate family. Being the only ones spared, Anthony and his sister Cassandra proceeded to live with ther uncle Vestalus, though he payed little attention to them after becoming a prelate to the Mortalitasi in 9:12. Thus, Anthony and Cassandra had only each other, forming a very close relationship.

Being from a family of renowned dragon hunters, Anthony and Cassandra dreamed of becoming dragon hunters themselves and showed great interest in swordsmanship.
