An Anniversary is an Act 3 companion quest for Varric in Dragon Age II.
Acquisition
After completing the quest Haunted (you get it at the same time as acquiring Closure).
Walkthrough
Head back to the Hanged Man to speak with Varric. He remarks that it has been six years since he met Hawke, and tells them it has been an honour knowing them.
Result
The conversation can lead to 
Varric: friendship (+10) if you choose the sarcastic tone twice in a row.
Rewards
You receive no rewards for completing the quest.
