Alamar is a town in northeastern Ferelden, which is not located on the mainland. Alamar is actually located on a small island at the mouth of the Waking Sea, east of the City of Amaranthine. Due to its proximity to Brandel's Reach, a rocky island commonly occupied by raiders, Alamar is not "considered a prime place to live."[1]
Trivia
- The island is most likely named after the Alamarri who are the tribal ancestors of the people of Ferelden.
