Changes: After the Joining

Now you are a Grey Warden, Duncan asks you to attend a strategy meeting with King Cailan.

Attend King Cailan's strategy meeting, and find out what your role will be in the upcoming battle.

After the Joining cutscene is over, you will receive the Warden's Oath as well as all of Daveth's & Ser Jory's equipment (their armor may be a decent upgrade if you're a warrior or rogue). In addition, you will now be at level 5 and have two talent/spell points to spend.
When you are ready, simply follow Duncan and watch the cutscene.
Once this quest is complete and you enter the Tower of Ishal, you will not be able to return to the army camp at Ostagar. Remember to complete The Mabari Hound and The Hungry Deserter quests.

Alistair rejoins your party.
King Cailan has asked you to light the beacon at Tower of Ishal, to signal when the darkspawn horde have committed themselves to battle.
If you agree with Alistair that this is a waste of your talents, you can gain +2 approval with him as well as amusing dialogue.
You can now start Tower of Ishal (Quest).

Look out for Uldred, who will play a significant role later, at the strategy meeting.

The 'Revered Mother' standing next to Uldred is actually the Grand Cleric of Ferelden.
