This Aeducan Shield is an unusable kite shield and plot item in Dragon Age: Origins.

Acquisition

• Retrieved from a sarcophagus in the Thaig Chamber as part of A Noble Expedition quest during the Dwarf Noble Origin.

Notes

• It was formerly used by Paragon Aeducan.
• When you take it from the sarcophagus, a cutscene will follow with the protagonist holding the shield – which isn't shown – and the companions making some comments about it.
  • The item, used in the cutscene, has the item ID gen_im_arm_shd_lrg_aed and is a targe with the same name, the Aeducan Shield (targe). That one shares its appearance with the Aeducan Family Shield.
