- For the staff in Dragon Age II Act 1, see Acolyte's Staff (Dragon Age II Act 1).
- For the staff in Dragon Age II Act 2, see Acolyte's Staff (Dragon Age II Act 2).
Acolyte's Staff is a staff in Dragon Age: Origins.
Acquisition
- Merrill joins the party equipped with this staff in the Dalish Elf Origin.
- This staff can be found in the Circle Tower, either during the Magi Origin or during the events of the Broken Circle.
- One of them can be found in a locked chest in the Templar Quarters on route to Uldred, after the The Fade: Lost in Dreams quest in the Circle Tower. It is located in the room before the encounter with the trapped Cullen.Note: A successful unlocking on the chest requires a rogue with 50 Cunning or 10 less Cunning for each talent invested on the Deft Hands tree. Unlocking the chest, earns 40 experience.
- One of them can be found in a locked chest in the Templar Quarters on route to Uldred, after the The Fade: Lost in Dreams quest in the Circle Tower. It is located in the room before the encounter with the trapped Cullen.
- Sold by the Quartermaster at Ostagar for 63 25.
- Found in the Mages' Chest as part of The Hungry Deserter quest or if the key to unlock the chest is not acquired, later on, in the corpse of the prisoner in the Return to Ostagar DLC.
Notes
- It is better than the iron Magic Staff that the mage Warden receives at the beginning of the game, even though it costs slightly less.
