A Superior Tower is a side quest in Dragon Age: Inquisition.
With the right materials, improvements can be made to Skyhold's main tower.
Acquisition[]
Obtained by picking up the Main Watchtower Recipe on the desk in the Inquisitor's Quarters in Skyhold.
Walkthrough[]
Gather the necessary items:
Restore and Improve the large tower for an imposing cosmetic change. Invest in this upgrade to choose between a Mage or Templar tower. Reward: +1 Power
Return to any of the requisition tables and craft the item labeled "Main Watchtower" to complete the quest.
Completing the Requisition will spawn an upgrade marker on the northern wall, above/behind the armory/smithy in the courtyard. Stairs leading up to it can be found on the eastern side of the armory. The exclamation marker won't appear on the map until you actually go up to the wall.
Then choose which tower you want to build: Mage Tower or Templar Tower. The choice is cosmetic, but depending on which type of tower you choose, you will unlock one of two banner crowns:
- Templar Tower: Templar Order Banner Crown
- Mage Tower: Circle of Magi Banner Crown

Bugs[]
The requisition table states crafting the "Main Watchtower" will grant 1 Power, however upon completion zero power is awarded.
