A Secret Formula is a companion quest in the Mark of the Assassin DLC for Dragon Age II if Sebastian Vael is brought along as a companion.
A recipe scroll has been found. Be on the lookout for others.
Acquisition[]
This quest is obtained in the starting area outside of Chateau Haine. There is a scroll leaning up against the left hand side of The Huntsman Quartermaster's chest. Taking the scroll will trigger some dialog from Sebastian and begin the quest.
Walkthrough[]
There are a total of three scrolls you need to find.
- Chateau Haine (Gate) - Starter area outside the Chateau where you meet Duke Prosper for the first time. Near the Huntsman's quartermaster chest. Opposite of where you pick up the quest The Master's Salve.
- Chateau Haine Interior - On a table in tn the cook's alcove. Where you pick up the quest Hard to Stomach.
- The Dungeons - The first large room to the west on the map where you fight the large group of guards. On a table in the corner.
Result[]
Once the third scroll has been found Sebastian will remark on a map appearing in the book and a treasure cache will be marked on the map. Its location is found in The Retreat, on the east side of the map after you first see a pair of fleeing Ghasts.
