A Hidden Hoard is a side quest in Dragon Age: The Veilguard.
Acquisition[]
This quest is obtained from the Wharf Crossing North notice board in Dock Town after completing The Cobbled Swan Case.
Walkthrough[]
There are rumors of a treasure hidden in Minrathous. Who did it belong to, and why are they leaving clues to its location?

Follow the quest marker south to Wharf Crossing south. Enter the bar with the red neon sign beside the fast travel beacon and read the note on the counter.
Find the second clue[]
Follow the quest marker north towards Side Alley Bridge. At the south-west corner of the bridge, approach the now unsealed door. Rana Savas is crouched outside and can be spoken with briefly. Enter Tidarion Tower and climb up. At the top, exit the open doorway and cross a bridge to find a treasure chest with a Shimmering Sight Charm and the next note.
Find the third clue[]
Follow the quest marker south-west to the Shoreline Passage and head to the newspaper shop in the ruined tower. Read the note on the small table by the entrance.
Find the ancient door[]
Follow the quest marker north towards Aula's Lookout (directly across the street) and proceed into the Catacombs. Follow the path north to the central room, then take the newly opened small path on the north-west side of the room. At the entrance to the path is a chest with a Dragon's Brace. Continue along the path. A group of mercenaries will ambush the party. Once the mercenaries have been cleared, approach the door and unlock it.
Investigate the foul smell[]
On entering the room, one of the party companions will remark on a foul smell. Read the three notes within the room to complete the investigation and the quest.

- Magister's Bargain (amulet)
- 300 gold
- 5 Fade-Touched Crystal
- 100 Shadow Dragons strength
- Party companions bond increase
The two chests are both trapped with poison, but on opening yield a Battlehorn and a class dependent weapon: Flying Kite (warrior), (rogue), (mage).
