A Deluded Chevalier is a side quest in Dragon Age: Inquisition.
Documents found in Costeau's camp mention a chevalier named Auguste who is working for the Freemen. He was last seen at Argon's Lodge in the Emerald Graves.
Acquisition
Acquired by examining a map found in the Veridium Mine during another side quest, A Fallen Sister.
Rewards
- 967 XP
- 200 Influence
- 2 Power
Notes
- Auguste drops a Mysterious Chateau Sketch and The Whale. The sketch is the first clue related to the quest Chateau d'Onterre however the quest can be completed before the sketch is found.
- A bottle and a piece of the Invasion mosaic are found inside Argon's Lodge.
Bugs
- There is a bug that can cause the front door of Argon's Lodge to not open, making it unbeatable in the intended fashion. Possible solutions include:
- Fight all enemies through the door using melee attacks (this will take some time as enemies need to be against the wall/door). For the Chevalier, a mage attack can bring him up close to the door, in range of the melee strikes (it takes time). This renders the mosaic piece, bottle and codex inaccessible. (On PC) The door on the second bridge will open once Fairbanks and company move in, and a Fast Travel point is added, making the collectibles accessible. The main door will remain locked.
- Use the Tempest ability Thousand Cuts which will result in the character landing inside the locked area upon finishing. If you die during this ability while inside, you can be revived by a mage. From inside, go around and unlock one of the side doors to let your team in. The mosaic piece, bottle and codex can then be collected. (Does not work on PC.)
- A warrior can use Charging Bull on the door. To do this have your warrior against the door facing the door and have your warrior do Charging Bull.
