Sigrid Guldsdotten was a delight! Such a fresh perspective! True, the evening threatened to go poorly when the [[Avvar]] mage and [[Magister]] Verixsus bickered over the proper use of spirit-bindings, but she brought down the house during a practical demonstration of spheric-energy projections! (Both figuratively and very nearly literally. Quite invigorating!) I cannot tell you how gratifying it was to see all the old goats from the [[Fereldan]] Circles outdone by an Avvar. We must have her back. Also, I believe Verixsus invited her to his summer villa.

A Cultured Exchange is a war table mission in the Jaws of Hakkon DLC for Dragon Age: Inquisition.

Acquisition

Available after recruiting Sigrid Guldsdotten as the agent for the Inquisition.

Operation text

Sigrid Guldsdotten is a very, shall we say, interesting choice of recruit, Inquisitor. Commander Cullen has had a great deal to say on the matter. Still, we've had interest from scholars and mages beside themselves at the chance to speak with a "stable" abomination. (Especially since the Chantry is too weak to forbid it with any force.) I believe that Guldsdotten, with a guide and some guards for her own protection, would be a valuable guest to send to select lectures and salons.

Ambassador Montilyet

You cannot be serious.

Adviser suggestions

Josephine - 0:18:00

Say the word, Inquisitor, and I will send our new Avvar mage on a brisk tour of cultural exchange.

Leliana - N/A

Not participating in this mission.

Cullen - 0:22:30

This is madness. If you must, have this Avvar abomination meet with our own scholars. In a small room. Far from anything. With a templar present.

Result

Josephine

Dear Lady Montilyet,

Sigrid Guldsdotten was a delight! Such a fresh perspective! True, the evening threatened to go poorly when the Avvar mage and Magister Verixsus bickered over the proper use of spirit-bindings, but she brought down the house during a practical demonstration of spheric-energy projections! (Both figuratively and very nearly literally. Quite invigorating!) I cannot tell you how gratifying it was to see all the old goats from the Fereldan Circles outdone by an Avvar. We must have her back. Also, I believe Verixsus invited her to his summer villa.

All the best, dear!

Countess Fleche

Cullen

As per Commander Cullen's suggestion, only our own scholars have spoken with Sigrid Guldsdotten about the Avvar's unique magical traditions. It is not quite the splash of social scene I'd hoped for, but the information is valuable nonetheless. Ambassador Montilyet
