My dad told me the other day he was now playing on PC and he was using mods but most of the coolest mods like the darkspawn and Duncan companion mod and most of the armor mods are saying it is the wrong file is there something that me and him can do fix it? Oh and Vigli's keep is not working.Thanks.

How or why is Meredith still alive ? Her statue was in the Black Emporium. Now she's gone and leads the Red Templars.

Does anyone knows which font is used in Dragon Age comics created by Dark Horse? It would be excellent and I would be grateful if someone told its name here! :)
This will contain spoilers for the comic trilogy. The Silent Grove, Those Who Speak and Until We Sleep follow King Alistair, Isabela and Varric’s journey to find King Maric Theirin and, something I find quite interesting, these comics take place in everyone’s worldstate. If Alistair is a Warden the events of these comics are mentioned in DA:I, if Alistair is exiled it is likely that he is still the one who goes to find Maric but what if Alistair is dead? What if Isabela was given to the Arishok?
I have came across this on uBSN and thought I'd leave a heads-up here, for anyone who would like a last chance to play it or add info to the wiki.
So I was wondering if anyone else would love to read or even watch a story of the Magisters Sidereal lives in the years leading to Second Sin like detailing the struggles the empire was in during the time the concerns of daily life see how and when the Old Gods first started whispering the idea to them, see the effect the mission had started to take on the group and those around them
I decided to buy all the Dragon Age comics that have been released so far, but when I was searching for issues of Magekiller, I found a very interesting thing. There is an alternative cover for issue 1 called "the Fried Pie variant" which looks really amazing. But I haven't been able to find any other alternative covers for any other issues. So my question is : Does anybody know about any other special variants for any of the other comics (and I really mean ANY, like the IDW series etc.)?
What would have happened? how would his conversation with maric change in the fade?
Hello Hello, my dragon age fandom members. As you might have guessed from the topic title already we are getting another piece of Dragon Age material in yet another comic adding to the Oasis of Tevinter Nights in this ever dry desert of content.
Bad theatrics aside, this new comic, which will be in three issues similarly to other dragon age series, titled as 'Blue Wraith' will be once again produced by Dark Horse Comics. The comic itself will apparently feature the return of that lovely brodding lyrium tattooed bad boy that you either love or hate: Fenris.
The description of the comic series summarized at the start by Dark Horse comics states that we'll start off by seeing Qunari fanatics attempting to bring down the mageocracy and caught in the middle dealing with this situation a young female mage is trying to find her father but will eventually be met face to face with Fenris himself.
The first issue is set to release January 15th, 2020
You can read all the other details n the link: comicbook.com/gaming/amp/2019/09/27/new-dragon-age-comic-blue-wraith-fenris-dark-horse/?__twitter_impression=true
Now I got to say I find this pretty interesting since this will be a second piece of content for Dragon Age to be released after Tevinter Nights. Which also means just more delving into Tevinter itself.
I'm definitely curious about that bit about the Qunari fanatics because we know by the end of Trespasser the Qun was doubling its efforts against the Imperium military wise anyway, though this seems to imply there going for the "civil and political unrest and breaking them from within" option as well. Though I wonder if the nobility in general is being targeted or is a direct attempt at Magisterium.
I have no idea what to guess about this female mage that will be caught in the middle of all this apparently looking for her father. Could be a new character or not.
All of this of course leads to us seeing good ol Fenris, whom when we last heard of was hunting slavers during Inquisition, again which makes a degree of sense I suppose. We just learned that House Danarius is in the background, mentioned, during Deception and might come into play later in the series.
The only problem I think people might have an issue with here is with how big Fenris' role is and by extension the role this comic will play in the Dragon Age game considering he has about three fates in Dragon age 2: alive, dead, or memory swabbed clean and back in slavery.
I assume this will be like Alistair's comic though just in theory showcasing what might have happened with him if he at the very least lives and was kept free. Another point I'm seeing sort of somewhat going around might be that the comic takes place before Fenris got away from Danarius but I doubt that to be honest.
In any event, we'll just have to wait and see what's done with him. Plus I want to see dat lyrium boi's new haircut and outfit.
So, I am currently working on a Dragon Age RPG campaign. My problem is while I have a decent knowledge of the game itself, I am trying to be original at least a bit. I keep getting a great idea and then shortly after realizing that I was just thinking of a quest or storyline from the games.
Any ideas for plot points that might be fun? Ideas that really encompass the Dark Fantasy and world of Thedas? Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Interested to see if these are all “post Trespasser” or if they’re from all over the timeline. Because if it’s all post, does this canonically mean Genitivi is alive in that novel, or could it be perhaps a story with someone talking about him? And would they really show us Solas post Trespasser in a novel first with that last novel instead of a game?
Sup yall so you might have heard the news already but if not writers of the Dragon Age Universe have officially announced, after the information had been initially discovered by a couple of other fans on Amazon, that they will be releasing a new set of short stories in the Dragon Age Universe.
This will not be a new novel but an anthology piece which is titled, as suggested by the topic title, Tevinter Nights and is currently scheduled to release on March 10, 2020.
Of those working on the collection itself we have Patrick Weekes serving as the editor and featuring stories from others like John Epler, Courtney Woods, Bbattye, El_Cormier, Sylvf1, and many others.
Here is the link to collection on Amazon so you can have a look at it and the relative tweets regarding the work from some of the writers down below.

I'm trying to build a character for the book rpg. I don't have a game setup for it yet, but these are rough ideas for later. For those who haven't delved in, the book contains the main aspects of the three classes but also offers most of the specializations from the games as well. It's fairly free form in comparison and also has more weapon options like polearms and crossbows and keeps open weapon classes rather than limiting you in the later games.
Anyway I have three concept backgrounds I brainstormed with and I can make a PC (more npc) organization to represent where they came from.
1st is a the third offspring of a Tevinter Magister, without magic. The idea is they join the Imperial army as a Warrior or stay at home as a rogue until needed to leave, using Tevinter mundane as the background to represent not having magic rather than Altus or Lanae.
2nd is a apart of a Templar garrison gone rogue and instead of fighting mages, they take command of a smaller city (likely in the free marches). This would be heavily based on splinter groups of the Teutonic Order (Malta, Livonian) who command estates and rule.
3rd is kinda similar to the 1st but instead of a near bastard, this is from the scion of a Anderfel Dukedom who is more aligned to the Wardens rather than the King. When a warden forcefully oversteps their bounds and attempts to conscript the character, they are forced to leave.
I've noticed on this wiki that character background sections have been drawn from ''The World of Thedas'' books. It's my understanding that these books are written from the in-universe perspective of Brother Genitivi and thus should not be treated as official. There's even an erratum written by Brother Genitivi that warns the readers that not all information in the books should be treated as fact:
"Gathering accurate information is challenging in a place as vast and fragmented as Thedas. Sources may conflict wildly."
An example I found of an inconsistency in Volume 2 is that Brother Genitivi claims that Merrill was not really a blood mage, when we all know that this is not true. Also, he cites choices for the Warden/Hawke/Inquisitor that vary from game-to-game, and it's implied that the Warden was a Dalish elf, like Bioware's default canon.
All this to say, shouldn't the wiki name the headers on articles after the books themselves instead of "Background", so that people know where the information originates? Especially since it's questionable how accurate the books are compared to the information we know from the games.
Hey everyone, I am new here and I would like to read the whole story of Dragon Age from the scratch. I' ve played DAO and DA ll. Can you help me with some info on where to start?
