DA: Origins
I'm currently playing Dalish female elf. I wanna get in the feel of the Dalish. I know they support magic and traditions, but little else. So I'm asking for some tips, including romance, should I do chantry tasks, or other such choices. I'm still in the origin part of the story. I'm also playing as a rogue, my specializations might be Duelist Ranger

The really funny thing about this decision, for me at least, is that's my canon Warden. But this was probably not the reason they picked it. So, why do you think a Dalish female is the default Warden unless your past games say otherwise?
My hunch is that it's because she lost the most in her origin. After all, Tamlan, as a ghoul, revealed he had always loved her. And I bet he was planning on proposing to her that evening. So had fate been kinder, she would have had a husband, and a family of her own. She would have had a happy and normal Dalish life. And now that's all gone. If a Dalish female was your canon Warden, would she accept a proposal from Tamlan if fate was kinder that day?
Why do you think Dalish female was made default?
One minor criticism I have of Origins, is that when we arrive in the Fade while rescuing the Circle Tower, we find ourselves in Weisshaupt fortress. And the illusion is that the Darkspawn are all gone, and the Grey Wardens are celebrating final victory.
Me personally... I think this is not a great illusion for the Warden. After all, we've only been Wardens for a short time. And we've never been to the Fortress and have had only one or two Darkspawn encounters beforehand.
And our memories of our lives before likely still resonate strongly. So I think a better illusion would be a call back to our origin, where we see us living happy and normal lives.
Cousland is welcoming their brother home from the war
Amell/Surana has graduated and become one of the most respected mages
Tabris is married and has children
Mahaeriel is celebrating a successful hunt with the clan (and for female Mahariel's Tamlen even asks you to marry him)
Aeducan has successfully prevented their brother's dirty tricks and is now heir.
And Brosca has worked off all debts and is celebrating the birth of their niece or nephew.
I assume none of this happened because it would cost a lot of money. And one could argue that the Warden is able to see through it all quickly or snap out of it very quickly because they've only been a Warden for a short time. And their Warden identity is still being forged. But if this is the route BioWare DID go, what would you write and how would you snap out of it?

In the Epilogue, Anora became Queen alone and mentioned that Alistair had made the final sacrifice.
In the playthrough, I had hardened Alistair, and romanced him, but later broke off the relationship. I also persuaded Anora and Alistair to marry and rule together. Then I recruited Loghain and had Alistair step aside to become King. The description for completing the Landsmeet reflected my choices. I even went through with Morrigan’s Ritual with Loghain. But in the Coronation Scene, it was just Anora alone, and when she spoke to me, she acted as if Alistair was dead. After the cutscene, Alistair is in fact standing there (all butthurt cause I picked Loghain over him) and I can talk to him. But I’m still confused as to why the cutscenes in the Epilogue act as if he died?
Started a new playthrough in Origins and wanna do something different this time. I got her as a Dwarven rogue commoner that specializes in duel welding and bombs. Got her as a harden warden that will do whatever it takes to get.the job done. Also planning on having her romance Leliana but take some time to warm up to her. My question after all this is what choices should I have her choose?
Ps. I'm gonna do all the DLC for this run.
So I am playing DA:O and I am playing as a human warrior. Any tips in regards to my build, weapons, or tactics? Also
So I haven't played for a week, and turned on my Xbox. When I leveled up, I noticed all the specializations I unlocked are all of a sudden locked. What happened to my specializations?
