Or Tevinter or the Anderfels. Sorry, not enough poll slots. For me it's the Free Marches. Most cities seem pretty mild politically and socially (aside from Kirkwall and Tantervale). I feel like their Circles (again, aside from Kirkwall) were more centers of learning. If I had to choose one city it'd be Ansburg or Markham.
Ferelden. I would say Tevinter, Nevarra, Anderfels and Rivain catch my interest but until I actually see them I can't give a real opinion. Orlais I despise may it rot away. The Free Marches doesn't count it's not a single nation it's a butch of petty city-states that bicker and fight each other all the while most of them have corrupt leaderships...They're many nations and the majority of them are seemingly pathetic. I despise the Qun so Seheron and Par Vollen would probably really suck for me. Antiva sounds lovely and deadly in equal measure I'd need to see it but right now neutral. If Orzammar counts it's shitty morally corrupt I hope it falls. Kal-Sharok no opinion besides I think they're more honorable.
I can't choose Nevarra, Rivain or Antiva because we know very little about them.
The Avvar. They're not technically a nation, since they are too fragmented. But they are a very distinct, separate culture and they do loosely hold sovereign territory with the Frostbacks (the surface, at least), and have done so for longer and more consistently than many of the other countries. So...good enough for me.
Of those we know about? Ferelden. Even if anything else goes to shit, they still got dogs. Of those we haven't visited yet? Rivain, but Nevarra is close. Of those not visited and partially not listed, but still being states? Rivain and Tevinter.
What do you think?
