I chose the Inquisitor. Considering that whoever drinks from the Well may very well end up under Solas' control, I needed to decide who I would rather lose. Morrigan, who is in a happy relationship with my Warden, with whom she has a son. Or the Inquisitor, who is in a pretty much dead end relationship with Divine Cassandra.
Also, I can't help but feel that Morrigan is just blindly seeking out power, while understanding a lot less about what it is and what it does than she thinks she does. So, it's probably for the best that she doesn't get her hands on this kind of power.
I chose Morrigan because she seemed to understand it better. Also Cassandra said to let Morrigan have it.
I had my Inquisitor drink, not just for the value of its use in the Tresspasser DLC but also what I heard from some of the Devs. Its seems Mythal/Morrigans Mother had planned to pass on this immortal spirit and power to her daughter. And even though Solas took much of her power her spirit yet lingures. Thus comes the question, can the Inquisitor gain the embodiment of justice and fight Solas. Even if not, the knowledge gained from the well plus some successful missions in the Wycome-Dalish Clan missions now will allow me to have a place to spread the True History of The Elves and the Dangers/Folly of the Dread Wolf. Wisdom begats Pride.
I had my Inquisitor a dalish mage named Arya Lavellan drink the well of Sorrows not just for the value of its use in the Tresspasser DLC, Since Morgan's reactions very interesting at first she's pissed at Inquisitor for drinking from the well, but when she learns Mythal/flemeth would have had control over her had she drunk from the well, her disposition towards The Inquisitor changes. becoming happy that The Inquisitor overruled her and drank from the well.
My first Inquisitor (dalish rogue) had Morrigan drink from the well. My 2nd Inquisitor (dalish mage) drank from the well.
I feel like a Dalish Inquisitor makes sense, but the others really don't, personally.
What do you think?
