I am pretty sure the subject has been broached already but I missed it, so let me ask :
In Here Lies The Abyss, we learn that Coryphyphy started a "mass Calling" which leads the Wardens to believe they are all going to die.
If you import a worldstate with a Warden Alistair, he'll be Hawke's contact and you can dialogue with him.
If he was in a relationship with the Hero of Ferelden (and she survived), he will also say that the Hero went on her own to find a way to stop it (maybe any Hero, I always romanced him so I don't know).
In any case, it is clearly stated that both Warden Alistair and the Hero of Ferelden are affected.
But what about King Alistair ? All we see from him is a small cameo in Redcliffe, and that's only if you chose to help the Mages instead of the Templars.
Despite everyone forgeting that Alistair was a Grey Warden (remember Anders remark in DA2 "Weren't you a Grey Warden once ?" to which Alistair answers "That's the rumor"), he still went through the Joining. He hasn't been "cured" like Fiona was. So he should feel the Calling too.
Now, maybe he does, since we have no interaction with King Alistair, it's hard to tell. King Alistair is not in contact with the Wardens anymore (or maybe he is early before the Conclave, if he kept in touch with the Hero or if she is her mistress) but he certainly would not know exactly what is happening to him. Clarel would have no reason to share her knowledge to the King of Ferelden, and if the Hero did went on a quest to investigate, he'd have no one to explain him what's going on with Cory/the Wardens.
Shouldn't at least a note or banter somewhere mentions that King Alistair is acting strangely lately ? Paranoid and/or depressed ?
Or did Coryfufus' spell conveniently did not reach him in Ferelden ? (But then again, why ask Blackwall why he is not affected if Ferelden was out of reach...)
Did I miss or forgot something ? Is it addressed in another media ?
