@FlamesOfChaos
First thing to gt out of the way: I'm easily confused by which words to capitalise, as I'm not a native speaker (We Germans capitalise all nouns.)
According to what I'm used to, as well as the modus operandi for wiki articles (like races not being capitalised), the only word that I would capitalise in the statement of yours I quoted up there is "Ameridan", as it is a personal firstname. So I was wondering if you just wrote the rest the way you did for emphasis.
"Most City Elves are Andrastian this has been stated. ..."
"Loyal Andrastians" or even "City Elves" isn't a title, but anyway. Ameridan is simply "Inquisitor", which I would capitalise. How do you know that all city elves are "loyal believers", whatever that is? Perhaps some of them just play along to avoid trouble? They do seem to remember that it was forced on them afterall. Of course it is pretty easy for an ignorant "inclusive" (as in, you are regarded as a member, whether you want it or not) organisation to say "Everyone is in, period. Because the rest is either dead or will soon be claimed as well, or die."
"As for the one that existed in the past obviously not given what [Ameridan] was."
I would not call that obvious, no. It is an interesting discrepancy, but it does not prove that the Chantry of that time was more tolerant. Kordillus Drakon's actions actually prove the opposite to me, and I guess Ameridan himself was a special exception due to his relations. But not the average Dales elf. But we already had this talk. *sigh*
"We don't have enough details on the Maker and Titans/Stone for me to decide their fate yet ones not even proven as fact yet."
Cop-out for the first part, though I should have been more accurate and said "the Maker according to Chantry teachings", because "He" is a neglectful manchild, so get rid of "Him" before "He" turns into somewhat more active. *lol* Oh, and that begs the qusetion if a "Maker" not according to Chantry teachings is "the Maker" at all, or something entirely different.
"The Old Gods are the Archdemons so yes."
Not quite. They can become Archies if the Darkspawn dig them out and make them sick. Of course, this already happened for five out of seven.
"The Titan only caused the earthquake because of the Breach we don't know if it was voluntary/deliberate or accidental/possessed/controlled."
That's why I used "if". You are right in that we don't know if the titan acted out of malice. I actually think not, it might just have twitched in its sleep, due to the awful noise the surfacers made. *lol*
"I don't know if this is addressed towards me but it was Godzillavkk that wrote that."
Yes, this was addressed at her, not at you.
"I've claimed the Maker exists. Not that I want him to. [...] As in he's real in the games"
Proof?
"That it's very well known both Elves and Humans can be good or evil."
A lot of your statments in their tone heavily suggest that you might think that Dalish elves cannot be "good". Regardless of the "pro-" things you claim. It gets perhaps bit irritating, right?
"People can believe whatever they want as long as they don't harm or attack others"
I agree on this, but I do see a more or less aggressive proselytisation as an attack. The Chantry (or Qun) do not really accept a no, and this conversion mandate is the one thing that even Divine Leliana does not adress apparently.
"Buckeldemon hasn't so nope I don't care for them at all."
How dare have I a different timezone? *rofl*
@Godzillavkk:
"But what makes a god a god?"
As far as I'm concerned, belief can make a being a god / divine in the mind of a believer. Anywhere else though, it is just a being. The power level might be different, but I'd say it is irrelevant. This all goes for both Thedas and real life.
@TealOmega
"The elves losing their religion would not mean the end of thier culture, or them turning into humans culturally."
It does not even mean "losing", it would just need a new interpretation. My main inquisitor is a mage Lavellan "wolfbait" wearing the Vallaslin of Mythal, but she did not have it removed and associated it with her role in society and qualities to strive for.
...
As for the Tribunal from TES... You guys make me regret not buying that anniversary box a few months ago. *sadface*
So I got Skyrim SE only, and the Dragonborn DLC made me quite a bit intrigued about Dunmer culture. As I understand it, reading up on the Almsivi a bit, after all came crashing down among them (literally in case of Vivec), the Dunmer "downgraded" them to saints and re-installed their reverence of the three Daedra in their place, saying the latter "reclaimed" their spots.
