Mans only Humans.
My canon inquisitor went with redeem. I romanced him, so it really seemed the only choice. But he's also a god, unknowingly powerful and can do maker knows what, so to me it makes more sense to stop him with as little fight or bloodshed as possible.
At first i went with kill because i felt very betrayed but then i thought about solas maybe sacrificing himself to stop his own plan and thus gaining a sort of Post-mortem redemption
I'm a sucker for the redeemable antagonist. I'm kinda hoping that this plays out where Solas becomes a temporary quest companion (like Morrigan in What Pride Had Wrought) if not a full companion after you beat him but have to fight something worse for the last act of the game.
^ Same. I’m playing through DAI (again) and plan to choose to redeem him.
Redeem. For now. We'll see later.
For now, I'm solidly trying to redeem him. Whether or not I change my mind (or the game kind of forces me to change my mind) depends on how far he goes in the future games.
So far, he hasn't done anything I consider to be irredeemable. If I can forgive Thom Rainier for knowingly sending his (ignorant) loyal soldiers to murder a nobleman's entire family because he feels remorse for it, then I can do the same for Solas.
^ Now I'm starting to get curious on what everyone did to Thom...
I’ve always forgiven him. This time around, he’ll be given to the Wardens after we seal the Breach.
Former Inquisitor (Cain) Trevelyan is going to Redeem his best friend Solas.
What do you think?
