^^Technically, what Anders says is that "I believe I have a formula that can separate Justice and me." This has to be a lie, since he never had any intention to even try to do that.
This is a YouTube video which shows the quest in question (called "Justice"). The actual conversation occurs about 1 minute into the video.
^Are you saying that even if you save the Chargers he still betrays you? Because that should not happen. Doing so makes him Tal-Vashoth, which means that he doesn't answer to the Viddasala anymore. You might have encountered some kind of bug. Does the Keep say that the Chargers were saved?
@Steele-Wool@Silver Warden He's been Tal Vashoth each time and this may be something exclusive to console then because that's the only version I've played.
I’m in the minority but I say Varric only because to me he is infinitely less interesting than any new characters that come into the game and I don’t think Inquisition does as good a job with him as II did. Besides him, I would say Blackwall tho. The others are more interesting
^That's because Blackwall hates Vivienne and doesn't know what to make of Cole. Put him with Dorian, Solas, Varric, Cassandra, and/or Iron Bull (basically anyone else) and the commentary can be quite interesting.
