Ever since hearing the Duncan Survival theory i've been very interested. If you have any theories on how he survived or where he is now, please do let me know.

I theorize that he is in fact dead, in the afterlife, currently downing shots with Riordan, Cailan, and Maric for an eternity. Just as believable as him being alive.
I've mentioned this on a similar thread, but Duncan died at Ostagar as did all the Fereldan Wardens except for the Warden and Allistair. I know that his body wasn't found as Cailan's was, but you do find his weapons just as you find Cailan's weapons.
Riordin and Duncan took their Joining together, and Riordin tells you at Redcliffe that "...the Taint will not spare me much longer." Even if Duncan had survived Ostagar, his Calling was not long off. I really liked Duncan's character, and I always tear up when he dies. However, I am glad that he died under a beautiful night sky and surrounded by his Brothers and Sisters.
He's dead; decapitated and presumably instantly killed during the battle at Ostagar. By the time Inquisition rolls around, his corpse will have decomposed completely and his bones are likely littered across that valley, after being gnawed on by crows and wolves, and also probably darkspawn too.
His weapons are also either blighted beyond use under the snow, or were recovered by the HoF and their allies.
Nothing remains of him but a memory in the minds of a select group of people that were close to him in life, and the records of Weisshaupt Fortress. *That* is where Duncan is now.
Assuming, for the sake of argument, that he somehow miraculously survived the battle of Ostagar, he'd still be dead. The battle of Ostagar was 14 years ago. He'd have had his Calling years ago and died in the deep roads.
Also, what Silver Warden notes is true. Duncan was well nearing the end of his lifespan; assuming he was one of the 'lucky' Wardens who get a bit more time before the taint consumes them.
He was already an experienced Warden when Maric let them back into Ferelden, and that was *at least* 20 years before Origins, if not more. (the timeline of The Calling to Origins still confuses me.)
His corpse could be running around as an undead somewhere, but that'd be about it.
Duncan is still one of my favorite characters from the lore and series (books and games) and I hate that the game basically launches off his death. I believe he did not survive Ostagar.
And I hope he is truly dead, and not still knocking around as a darkspawn. Because wardens past their freshness/sell-by date somehow seem worse than other people who become ghouls or darkspawn.
