Thanks its the Ultimate Edition, I'm just kind of confused since some of the DLC's state that you can get items for the main campaign? And just wondering which order to play the DLC's in the most effective way, Thank you!

The DLCs are largely standalone, & you can play them in whatever order you like. Chronologically, you would play Leliana’s Song first, then Origins itself, then Awakening, then The Golems of Amgarrak, then Witch Hunt. The Darkspawn Chronicles is not canonical & so has no place in the chronology, but I suppose you could play it last.
If this is your first time playing, I recommend doing that order, since Leliana’s Song is a nice “intro” to Dragon Age & that order will keep you from getting confused. If you are returning to Dragon Age, then I recommend you complete all DLC except for Dragon Age Origins & Dragon Age Awakening first so that you can get the achievements for them, which grant you bonus items when you start a Dragon Age Origins campaign & said items carry over into Awakening as well.
Ultimately though, it really is all up to you :)

I go with Origins itself, followed by Leliana's Song, import into Awakening, followed by Golems of Amgarrak (to fill in the assumed span of time between Awakening and Witch Hunt's events) followed by Witch Hunt to top it all off. Darkspawn Chronicles, as mentioned above, is not part of the story but more a "What if...?" of what happens should the heroic, world-saving Warden have either refused to join the order or died somewhere along the way.
I'm not sure I would consider any but Chronicles to be standalone, since all of them do follow a chronological order by happening either before or after Origins' events, regardless of the "Warden" having lived or died; the main character just changes. Also, trying to play something like Golems with a character only created for it alone is a HUGE pain to go through and I recommend only taking it on with an Awakening-fresh character in the order I outlined above, so you have an equipment and level advantage.

I refer to them as standalone because, though like you say they do follow a chronological order & you ideally should import characters rather than starting fresh, the fact that you CAN just pick any DLC & play it through to the end without requiring any additional gaming allows them to stand by themselves. It’s up to you, the player, to make a chronology of them, & you are under no obligation to do so since you can play in whatever order you deem fit.
Do consider playing Awakening with a new character. Importing let's a character from Origins solo the entire expansion (rogues and warriors especially).
